KATSUAKI SATO
Katsusuke Sato is a jewelry designer and craftsman based in Japan. He was born and raised in Japan and was strongly influenced by his grandfather, who was a traditional Japanese confectionery artisan. From a young age, he loved working with his hands and was fascinated by design and making things himself. This passion led him to study under a revered jewelry craftsman in 2003, where he honed his skills through rigorous training and practice, becoming a highly skilled artisan.
In 2012, he earned the First Class Technician of Precious Metal Jewelry Making certification. On November 11, 2014, he founded ainowa. He is involved in every step of the process from design to production, using his jewelry to convey Japanese traditional culture.
